Meet the Owner
Thanks so much for checking out Anchor & Pine! If you hire me, you’re hiring a 26-year-old “old soul” who goes to church every Sunday, reads books on American history, drinks Fireball for enjoyment, and probably will Irish Goodbye you at the end of the night—in the nicest way possible.
I bow my head and pray if the minister says so, even if it means I stop recording. I pause and watch the father-daughter dance (after getting sufficient footage, don’t worry) because I value honoring that relationship in the moment.
If you book me, you’re booking somebody who believes God Himself is presiding over your day, even if you’re not a believer. There’s just something in how that alters my approach to your day that makes me different.
If you’re on board with all that, even the Irish Goodbye, I think we would make a great team.
FAQs
My Approach
Simple. Intentional. Unobtrusive.
I’m not here to turn your wedding into a production. I’m here to tell your story without getting in the way.
That means I won’t ask you to look at the camera or redo anything. I’ll be there early, working in the background, catching the little moments: your dad’s reaction when he sees you in your dress, the way your friends make you laugh during portraits, the sound of your vows as the wind cuts through.
After the wedding, I take all those moments and shape them into a film that actually feels like you. No fluff. Just the good stuff.
A Little About Me
I’m Nate—I’m a husband, 2x #GirlDad, History Buff, and a worshiper of King Jesus every Sunday.
I got my start filming sports and school events in college, ended up filming one friend’s wedding, then that one wedding turned into two, five, twenty, and now over 50.
I grew up in southern Maine, went to school in New Hampshire, and now live here with my wife (we met in high school) and our two daughters. We spend our time chasing kids, watching hockey or football, and building our future one backyard project at a time.
Family means everything to me—and that’s what drives how I film weddings. Because at the end of the day, you’re not just throwing a party. You’re starting your family story. I’d be honored to help you remember it.
